The former Yamagata's boss said that he wanted not to change his way to coach as he did for the J2 side because he believed there is not so much difference between J2 and J1. JFA calls the team's promising striker Kawahara for U-18 international. They will take part in the international tournament held in Lisbon, Portugal in mid june. He has scored two goals in three reserve-league games despite he has not played for the top team yet.
