Albirex Niigata beat Sapporo in the game betwen two bottom teams with Tanaka's early strike.

In the fifth minute, Suzuki who was selected for final eighteen member for the Olympic games on Monday made a pass to Michel who were free in the mid area after keeping a ball in the back line. Then Tanaka move foward the goal from the center at pitch as if turning on attacking switch. Michel never missed his move. The Brazillian made a perfect through ball not to kill his speed. And then the 24 year old slotted in easily at one on one situation with a goal keeper, which was his first goal of the season.

After the goal, Albirex attacked more against the home sides reeling at the goal conceded.
However the visiors couldn't extend thier account, which settled in Sapporo who couldn't also make effective attacks anyway.

In the second half, Niigata who had the wind at their back dominated the game and attacked home side in a unilateral way. Although they made 17th shots through the game, they scored only Tanaka's goal in the end.
