Higashiguchi Out for the Season

Albirex annouced Masaaki Higashiguchi will be sidelined for eight months due to right anterior cruciate ligament injury. He injured his right knee in last Sunday's fun event "Albirex Niigata Summer festa". His absence means there is only one GK, Ozawa available now. In this emergent situation, the team decided to register two youth GK Matsui(18) and Honda(16) to the top team.

That's bad. What kind of festa event? I know that community events are really important but that is a big loss in the race to avoid relegation. Great win against Marinos but Niigata was a bit unlucky in the cup against Nagoya...

That's verry silly. The club have to review the fan's fes.. during the season.　I just wish he would come back by the start of next season.

Despite of loss against Nagoya, I am satisfied with their current form. Very attacking.

I believe they survive at J1 although they have games against strong teams like G.Osaka, Nagoya, Kashiwa.

Hi orange-san.
Some bad results yesterday for Albirex... points for Omiya Ardija Vissel Kobe and Ventforet Kofu but a win today will make things better.. as you said there are some hard games coming up later. I'll try to watch the game against Frontale later today and I hope Albirex will win!

Musashi ​Suzuki is a exiting signing, he was one of the Japanese players I thought was doing good in the U-17 World Cup.

Also thank you for running this site, It's not that easy to follow Albirex unless you know Japanese so this site is great! Arigatou gozaimasu.
