Niigata gave the first win not to theirselves but to Asian champions.
Urawa's two goal conceded in the last or the first five minutes in each half spoils Niigata's patient and organized defence until then. Niigata had time to controll the game but could hardly create clear chances with for lack of accuracy of the last pass like centering.
Good point of the game is that Kogure got first appearance in the league game as a substitution of Honma who injured his knee in eight minute(The Club has not annouced Honma's injury so far).
. The eighteen year old midfielder played it cool and was well involved in Niigata's attack.

This defeat forced the team to go botoom of the table.
