Extra-time goal by Japan international Tanaka ends Sorimachi job at Niigata.
Niigata lost Kaimoto with second yellow in 57 minute. 11 minutes before the end, Jubiro opened the game before substitute Ueno equalized in the stoppage time.
10 men Albirex seemed to want penalty shoot out in the extra half but in 110 min, Niigata conceded a controvesial goal by Tanaka in confusion in the Niigata's area after the numerous corners. Jubilo charged Nozawa but refreee didn't judge the foul but a goal. Sorimachi accused the refree of his unconsistent judging through the game at the post-match conference.
Anyway, this became the season ending matach for the team and the last for Sorimachi.
