From the first half Albirex suffered from Sanuki's pressing but they maanaged to defend Kawata's 58 minute opener.
In 58 minutes substitute Yano passed a ball through to Kawata after Kato headed in front a ball from the oppornent' GK. The forward dribbled into the are and made a shot cooly against a rushing keeper.

Clean sheet. Sanuki made more shots and more chances than Niigata but they concentrated to defend them in the end.
